Domaine Cassagnau Piot Noir 2017

The name comes from a combination of two distinct regions. The Languedoc is known for fruit-forward and full-bodied wines that can also be quite complex. Roussillon produces riper and juicier blends, as well as late-harvest and fortified wines.

Beautiful colour with purple reflections. The intense nose combines aromas of red fruits (cherry, redcurrant) and hints of garrigue. On the palate, the wine is very elegant, enhanced by freshness with notes of sweet spices. A pleasant balance between fruitiness, roundness, elegant tannins.
