Chateau Saint-Hilaire Medoc 2012

While most Bordeaux wines require aging, those labelled simply 'Medoc' tend to be lighter in style and more approachable in their youth. Grown on gravel rich soils in the Left Bank of Bordeaux, wines from the Medoc are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends, but sometimes see the addition of Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Purple carmine colour, aroma of light tobacco and soft vanilla, cinnamon and cherry Morello cherry as well as of liquorice and blueberry. Firm finale and juicy let expect a bright future. This vintage was rewarded by the distinction of silver Finalise.
