Chateau Pomeys 2014 Moulis-en-Medoc

The nose is fruity, relatively intense and offers a slight powerful scent.it reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and more slightly of strawberries associated with hints of redcurrant, woody hints, minerality, spices as well as discreet hints of undergrowth, a hint of Sichuan pepper, bell pepper and mocha and a very discreet hint of cinnamon.

The palate is fruity, mineral, relatively silky, quite aerial, well-balanced and offers tension, a good structure, fat as well as a slight intensity/concentration. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, Cassis, slight notes of plum, black cherry, raspberry associated with hints of redcurrant as well as slight notes of grilles, oak, mocha, spices and discreet notes of cardamom.
